Fabulous photos, Rick, and a place I know well - though I don't get to visit as much now I'm living "Darn Sarf". I'm glad the Wensleydale Creamery is still going strong. Last time I was there, everything was branded "Wallace & Gromit".
I had a friend who lived in Sedbergh and was a member of the local cave & mountain rescue team. When I lived near Whitley Bay, I'd spend a couple of weekends most months camping in Dent and stomping around the Dales and grovelling around in some caving / pot-holing system or other. I can definitely recommend Dent (in the Dales but also within Cumbria) as an excellent base for the Dales and the south Lakes.

Thanks Paul. I visited Dent in 2007 and seem to remember visiting the Sun Inn for some reason 😉. Must go again one day.
Glad you had a lovely time in Yorkshire. Look forward to the subsequent parts!! Some lovely images too
Thanks Mark.
