Some of these really got me. They certainly compelled me to subscribe. I go to the mountains and forest often and photograph from what sounds like a similar place you do. To capture the feeling of the moment. The simple beauty that is everywhere if I pay attention. What I see and feel in your photos is that simple beauty. It’s a skill for sure. Keep exploring and sharing your work. I keep most of mine locked up. Some of it even unedited. One day I hope to show more of it.
#1 gives me a sense that I’m about to enter a forest for the first time, and explore the wonders within it. The next three show me some of those wonders. I get to #5 and am stopped dead, mouth agape. It’s hard to go further, but of if I do I get lost exploring the wonderful twists and turns of the next image. Lovely work.
These are beautiful, Rick. The warmer ones bring a real sense of calm, while the cooler ones feel a little more foreboding, to me at least. Love them all though.
I really love these pictures, they make me feel calm and full of awe. I use the forest to charge my batteries and it always makes me feel a lot. Great job capturing the feeling!
